Who we’re looking for:
You have a great chance of being a good fit if you have prior experience managing email service provider and marketing software (Klaviyo experience preferred but not required) and strategically developing email workflows, as well as informing and measuring effectiveness utilizing data-driven insights. We’ve added an email marketing + SMS service to our mix, and in order to provide world-class services we need world-class email marketers! Our mission is to provide brands with email campaigns that reflect their personality and voice, grab their current and potential customers, and introduce them to wants and needs they didn’t even know they had.
This position is open to local or remote candidates and is not dependent on location. Check out our company page for a glimpse into our world!
While this is a new position, email specialists are one of the pillars of the success of our email team. With a stable (and growing) client base of Google brands and Amazon brands, the opportunity to expand and develop with our email marketing service is immense. Core responsibilities include coordinating with Account Managers, Email Strategists, and clients to develop the email marketing strategy, then implementing that strategy through the creation of engaging email marketing flows and campaigns. We take a holistic approach to email marketing, so you’ll also be responsible for ensuring that our email marketing services tie in with their other marketing efforts to give customers a seamless experience.
At OMG, only the inquisitive survive. The ability to ask yourself questions and do the research to determine the solutions is imperative to the success of yourself, your team, and ultimately our clients. The unique ability to strategically develop high-impact, high-converting email funnels make email specialists very special people. Tailoring email flows to the proper subscriber segments at the right time to drive engagement, revenue, and customer lifetime value takes expertise and strategic thinking. Email specialists are the core of our email service and we’re looking for more wonderful team members who can help us grow!
The ideal candidate:
Email Marketing Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience fully managing, planning, and implementing email flows and campaigns for eCommerce clients. It will be important to understand our clients’ brands and product lineup as well as their target and potential audiences so that the email strategy has the highest potential for success. In addition, we look forward to learning from your expert knowledge of the industry, consumer, and competitive landscape, which will inform insightful ideas and best practices.
Attention to Detail: As an agency, we tend to work lean. This does not mean that we overwork and understaff! We limit our middle management levels because we have confidence that every team member is conscious of the quality of their work. In this role, strategic planning and effective implementation will be vital.
Problem solving: A cardinal sin at our company is asking someone a question you could have answered yourself. We need people who are willing to “use their brains” and don’t mind rolling up their sleeves to figure it out. That doesn’t mean we aren’t here to support you, we are. But you’re expected to offer solutions and hurdle problems, not allow them to get in your way.
Successful Email Marketing Specialist personality profile:
